Well hello there, you beautiful being!
Today, the sun is shining bright and the shadows are cold. Fall is decidedly here, and I love it. This time of change in weather and colors can be sometimes fast, sometimes slow. But it is change!
As life and time rolls along, we have come to a new cycle with Joyfully Wondrous.
I am so happy to announce that Joyfully Wondrous will be open for submissions as of November 2nd to November 9th, inclusively.
The predominant theme of the issue is, as always, the joyful and sublime experiences of life. ️ But! I wanted to add an extra theme of rebirth, particularly the pause and rest that is a catalyst just before the rebirth becomes visible. The winter before the spring, without which spring could not happen. The night before dawn, the sleep before awakening, the cocoon before the butterfly… so on and so forth.
This issue of Joyfully Wondrous will be released at the start of December, so yes it will be winter themed a little as well, particularly in the visual decorations on the pages.
So hurry scurry! If you have pieces prepared, may I suggest setting up a scheduled email so that you do not forget to send it in during the week of open submissions? Keep in mind that Joyfully Wondrous accepts essays, poetry, short stories, and art pieces.
