I wanted to officially announce the start of the opening submission for a book project!

This anthology will be a tiny and adorable little black and white book. It will not be a magazine, but a proper book. You are all very excitedly invited to send in prose and poetry pieces, as well as black and white artworks.

But what is the anthology about? I did not debate hard on this! I knew almost instantly I wanted it to be on a burning question, one that tugs at my mind.

What is creativity, and why is it important?

Creativity, my dear, is the crux of so much in my life. It is a driving force yet I rarely find it spoken of. What even is it? What makes a project creative? How do we ‘be’ creative? How do we fuel creativity, in nebulous but also tangible ways? 

I want you, if you will accept this invitation, to take this idea and run with it. I want you to discover what creativity means to you and why this matters – and to tell me all about it in your own unique way!

Again, accepted formats will largely be written, as there will not be options for color in this anthology. Please remember to cite your sources! If you borrow an idea, quote someone, please please please – cite your sources! MLA format will be preferred.
